This option provides a non-invasive method for measuring.
Monitoring of these vital signs enables depth of anesthesia to be monitored.
The oximetry option consists of a transducer and an oximeter. The clip sensor of the transducer is applied to a well-perfused tissue, such as the base of the tail or paw in mice. The transducer is connector to the oximeter, which has LEDs for alerting user to potential problems. If necessary, the oximeter may be connected to iox2.
